Today was an awesome day. In the morning we worked on morning work which was called Poodle-Day Special. I had alot of trouble on this paper at times so I had it for homework. Some people finished the paper but not many. After that paper we had a paper about insects. I didn't even have a chance to start it, so I bet I'm going to have alot of homework over the weekend.

After all of the morning worked we had or Spelling Test. I'm so glad that I studied for that test. When I don't study for a test I get very bad grades. After Spelling we shared are information on a book called Among The Hidden. Today we just shared our information about the book. My job was the Word Finder and the Connector. The Word Finders job is to find interesting words then write what you think it means and what the word really means. The Connectors job is to find something in the book that reminds you of real life than write it down. My partners are Alec and Thoren.

Next we had our own class Olympic game but we called it the Math Olympics. My partners were Andrew, Thoren, Alec, and Gannon. Some of the challenges involved counting, mutiplying, and working together as a team. Are team only won one time, but I'm glad that we at least won.

After the challenging Math Olympics we went to band/study hall. I go to band and today everybody in band had a substitute . Our substitute was awesome everybody was excited to have him again. He let us listen to a person that taught himself how to breath through his nose while playing. He also let us play any noise we wanted for one whole minute. He said we should put warm air in our instruments while playing. When band was finally over everybody was talking about are substitute and how awesome he was.

After we got back from band/study hall we washed up and went to lunch. Some people went to lunch with the principal to eat. The people that went to lunch were Alec, Thoren, Cami, Drue, and me. It was actually pretty fun.We just talked about some ways that we could improve the school. The principle thought most of the ideas were brilliant. Finally when the lunch was over we went outside for recess.

Recess was a blast. I had alot of of fun. When recess was over we had D.O.L (Daily Oral Language) which was ultra easy for me this week. I think I had for incorrect answers out of fifty-nine questions. When D.O.L was over we put our papers on top of a laptop for Mrs. Truby to check.

After D.O.L. was over we started are Estimation Jar. The Estimation Jar is a jar that we try estimating how many pieces of candy that is in the jar. I guessed three thousand four hundred fifty. My guess was at least two or one thousand off. Everybody in our class got I think one hundred forty-two sweet tarts from the Estimation Jar.

When we finished the Estimation Jar we were going to go to Spanish but the Spanish teacher was sick. So instead since today I think was the last Olympic day at school we went around school having our own Olympic games. The first one was hurling which the 3rd graders made. The hurling stuff that they made had a bottom that could be used on tile, a handel, and target to toss it on. The next one was like skating but you would use little pieces of cut out carpet and thoughs would be yours skates then you would race to a wall and back.

Next we had like a Olympic celebration and we would line up and walk to were we were soposed to sit. we sat down for a while until are class would go up and hold a liitle torch wich is fake. Our class got to do it because each class got to pick who they were and Mrs. Truby picked the Russians and the next Winter Olympics would be held by the Russians. So that's why we got to go up and hold the little torch.
